Brittany Sylvestri

Media Relations Specialist

Brittany is responsible for strengthening the university’s reputation across the state. She builds relationships with state reporters, identifies, and develops stories with a statewide impact, and finds new opportunities for our faculty to share their expertise with critical state audiences.

Prior to joining the University of Florida, Brittany worked in media relations at Florida Atlantic University. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in information, communication, and technology, a minor in business, and a master’s degree in integrated marketing and management communication.

Brittany and her husband, Joe, are proud parents of a toddler and Labrador Retriever.
