Melissa is responsible for cultivating relationships and collaborating with various internal and external constituencies on the local, state and federal levels. She also manages presidential athletics for the university, serves as assistant university secretary and works with the UF Board of Trustees. Melissa helped develop Gators for Higher Education – the university’s first formal advocacy program – that communicates the university’s goals to Florida’s elected officials with its 8,200+ advocates. She is married and has two sons, as well as a sweet dog named Sugar.
